Year Six

Year Six enjoyed an authentic Tudor feast hosted by King Henry VIII himself!  They made dishes taken from traditional recipes of the period and King Henry produced the roasted pigs head, an item that would have graced the best laid Tudor table.
Year Six experienced the feelings and excitement of being evacuated to the countryside during World War Two.  Dressed for the period, they traveled by steam train from Bodmin to the Lanhydrock Estate.  There they explored the house, experienced schooling 1940's style, ate their ration based packed lunch (including Spam) and sang WW11 songs.
