Christians against Poverty

We're trying something different... a budgeting course right in the heart of the community!

Having run 3 successful courses at Saltash Baptist Church, we are running our next course in June in Fore Street. We're grateful to Community Enterprises PL12 for being able to use the newly opened Community Kitchen as the venue and we're looking forward to helping as many people as we can.

Please see attached poster.

As well as phoning the 849948 option 2 number, people can also book by emailing moneycourse@saltashbaptist.co.uk

Thanks for your interest and support
Christians Against Poverty
Firstly, it's a year since we launched the CAP Debt Centre from Saltash Baptist Church. We're making our morning service this coming Sunday, 7th November, our CAP Sunday service to let everyone know how things have evolved over this year and where we see things going in the future. You are more than welcome to join us either in person at the church or online on Facebook/Youtube, it will be 10.30am to around 12 noon.

Secondly, just a reminder if you do know anyone who needs help with their finances, I still have a couple debt appointments free this month and Jane is more than happy to run the Money Course on a 1:1 basis for anyone needing help with budgeting skills. We also have various funding streams available - everything is summarised on the document above, please feel free to contact me on the email below.

Towards the end of last year, Christians Against Poverty started a new service at Saltash Baptist Church, offering debt help to the whole PL12 community for anyone who is struggling financially. The debt support is available to anyone and everyone and is completely free. All you have to do is phone CAP's friendly new enquiries team on 0800 328 0006 and they will make an appointment with the local CAP debt coach.

The link to the service offered at Saltash Baptist Church is https://www.saltashbaptist.co.uk/debt-help where you can find more information.  Please see the flyer below, feel free to share with anyone you think may be in need of some help.
